Trump and the GOP Sold Us Out to Big Telecom

On the campaign trail, Donald Trump claimed that big tech companies gaining undue influence over our lives is "an example of the power structure I’m fighting." He claimed that when it came to major corporations, there was a problem with "too much power in the hands of a few."

After he was elected, President Trump and the Republicans made it legal for big telecom companies to sell your browsing history for their own profit.

Trump lied. He said he was on the side of the little guy just long enough to get the little guy’s vote -- and then he turned around and sold the little guy out to the highest bidder.

We, the undersigned, demand that President Trump and Republicans stop treating the American people as nothing more than a profit opportunity. We demand consumer protection and privacy laws that place people ahead of corporations.
